Lady Xan Badge by HollyAnn

A surprise gift badge for Lady Xan, a winged-unicorn :)

Her body colour is supposed to be purple, but my scanner ate the colour and I just can't seem to fix it, no matter what I do :( Nevertheless, I hope she likes it :)

Medium: Micron Pen and Gouache
Tags: anthro conbadges winged-unicorn
Curious Little Skunk by HollyAnn

The third in the series of tiny paintings, this one's on 3x3" canvas. A little skunk discovered a ladybug on a dandelion. I also included a blown-up version of the dandelion as well, to show the detail of the ladybug, which is actually VERY tiny! Probably just a few millemetres big.

This will be for sale at Anthrocon 2008.

Medium: Gouache on canvas
Tags: Skunk ladybug
Sleeping Fox by HollyAnn

Another tiny painting, #2 in the series. This one is on a 2x2" canvas, with a quarter next to the painting to show how small it is. Actually, the fox is just *slightly* bigger than the quarter when I had the quarter on top of it, just to give you an idea of how small this little guy is.

This will be for sale at Anthrocon 2008.

Medium: Gouache on canvas
Tags: fox
Teeny Tiny Tiger by HollyAnn

This was the first in this series...I bought a bunch of tiny canvases at the art store which came with their own picture frames, and thought it would be cute to make tiny paintings.

This one in particular is a 2x3" canvas...I put a quarter next to the painting itself just to show how small it is, as you can see in the picture.

This will be for sale at Anthrocon 2008.

Medium: Gouache on canvas
Tags: Tiger
Trinsic Conbadge 2008 by HollyAnn

A brand new conbadge for my husband! It's only taken me 3 years to finally make one! XD

There might be a few people that are probably confused - they're used to seeing Trinsic's fursona as a fox. But he's had his purple and green dragon alter-ego for MUCH longer then I've ever known him as the fox - I've only drawn him as a fox because that's how I came to know him when we used to play Furcadia ;)

His old badge was double-sided: one side had his dragon-self, the other had the fox-self, but he's always worn the dragon side and rarely the fox side...unless someone asked him "Are you HollyAnn's Trinsic?" and he'd turn it over to show them the fox character ;)

Since he prefers the dragon-alter ego, I figured I'd just draw him as the dragon for his new badge. He really likes it :)

Medium: Prismacolour markers and pencils, Micron Ink, acid-free smooth bristol board
Tags: dragon
Clax and ArchTeryx by HollyAnn

A commission for ArchTeryx :) He wanted to have his persona (a lap gryphon) with my purple gryphon, Clax, looking up at Clax and being all cute n' stuff, while Clax looks down at him, thinking "What in the world??" Maybe he just hadn't seen a gryphon so small before! XD

Had to do a bit of Photoshoping with this one...the scanner ate the purpley colours of Clax, making him look navy blue instead of deep purple O.o So I cut out ArchTeryx, fixed it so that Clax was finally purple, then re-pasted ArchTeryx back in, so it would look like the original. Whew!

While in between my commissions, I just drew up a conbadge for myself, to see how a "cut-out" badge would be like to have.
The Bard's Song by HollyAnn

Originally done just for the fun of it, as well as appearing in the FC conbook when they had their Renaissance-themed con (2006?) As simple as this drawing looks, it actually took 14 hours to complete! Anyways...a young fox bard serenates to a lovely vixen, while her kitty friend is amused by the whole thing (or maybe she thinks the bard is cute too?)

Medium: Ink, Prismacolour and CharPak Markers, and Prismacolour pencils
Tags: fox cat vixen renaissance
Declaration of Love by HollyAnn

A drawing of two of my story characters: David (a silver fox) and Kayla (an arctic vixen). The two obviously have feelings for each other, but during the whole time, Kayla actually isn't aware of David's feelings for her. It sure was a shock to her when he finally came out and told her that he's been in love with her for quite some time ;)

Medium: Ink, Prismacolour and CharPak Markers, and Prismacolour pencils
Tags: fox fox fox vixen arctic silver
Yet another half-elf! This one is my husband's half-elf AD&D character for the game in which play in.

Simular in appearance (blond hair, green eyes, half-elf, dressed in green and brown as well as also being 19) but absolutely no relation XD I guess great minds think alike, eh?
Ficullir by HollyAnn

Ficullir (feh-coo-leer) is a a half-elf ranger. Her name literally means "hair of golden-red", and I actually did some research on elven names that were common in Tolkein's Middle Earth world. She's the latest of my Advanced Dungeons and Dragons characters, I've never played as a ranger before, so I thought I'd give it a shot :) And yes, I know, I mucked up on her left hand (the one that's on the viewer's right). I hate it when it looks good in pencil, but then gets mucked up when inking it =P

Drawn on 9x12" smooth acid-free bristol board, inked and then coloured with Prismacolour markers and pencils. The circle was made with a bowl, and then just inked and coloured with markers.

Medium: Ink, Prismacolour markers and pencils
Tags: and fantasy dragons dungeons D&D half-elf
Stripes Badge by HollyAnn

Oh my gosh, I actually did one of my homework!!! *gasp!* I'm hoping that my art slump is finally over and I can start tackling the rest of my homework...I *would* like to get them all done before Christmas.

Anyways, this is Stripes! He's actually a Zebra-striped horse

This is actually my 2nd attempt at his conbadge...the first one was Ok...but I did't like the way the head and left (his right) arm turned out and how that particular hand turned out too...So I just completely redrew it. And it out much nicer than the first!

Note to self: study more male torsos. A lot more.

Medium: Ink, Marker and pencil crayons
Tags: Horse anthro zebra
Ardrian and Lerrick by HollyAnn

My husband and I are working on a new concept for a webcomic, where he would be writing the story and I would be doing the artwork for it. These are just two of a large group of main characters: Ardrian the lion/qiling (aka kirin/ki'lin etc etc.) cross-breed, and Lerrick the rabbit. The species/races in the comic will be based somewhat from the Iron/Jade Claw games.

We don't know when the comic will be up and running yet...Perhaps in a few months' time. But I plan on doing the comic as you see the drawing here: hand-drawn but coloured in the computer, shaded and fur-textured, etc. Er...couldn't decide what to use for the background for this...I just wanted *something* other than a plain white background =P

Medium: Ink, Photoshop
Tags: rabbit bunny lion crossbreed qiling
Evil T'irahna by HollyAnn

My wemic AD&D character, T'irahna...looking a little different from how she used to look like ;) After becoming evil (Chaotic Evil), and choosing to become an evil god's first priestess, her fur turned black, making her...a little more unique in her world as being the only all-black wemic now. She no longer can use a sword, but found a nifty little ice-hammer in a cave on one of her many adventures.
